STAINLESS STEEL ROLLING MILL WITHOUT ANCALS WITH THE USE OF PULSE CURRENT The article gives the data on a pilot industrial model of a rolling mill for the production of a stainless
steel strip with a thickness of 0.3 mm without intermediate annealing and an oxide film made
of a billet with a thickness of 2 mm and a width of 100 mm. It shows the efficiency of using high-density pulsed current.

INCREASING THE METAL (CASTING) UTILISATION RATE WHEN PRODUCING MACHINE PARTS The article considers the problem of increasing the utilization rate of metal (castings) in the manufacture of parts of machine tools produced by investment casting. It gives the values of the wetting angle for various model compositions and materials of molds. The article presents the dependence of surface phenomena as a function of the melt temperature of the model composition.

Modern TRIZ in the system of training specialists for additive production The article considers the introduction of the complex of disciplines based on classical and modern TRIZ into the educational process of the Additive Technologies program of the Moscow Polytechnic University. It is shown that for successful mastering the skills of applying the methods and tools of classical and modern TRIZ, undergraduate students need the “through” teaching of a complex of disciplines during the whole period of study (4 years), real examples
and practice of applying TRIZ methods and tools, as well as participation in existing university projects, including collaboration with external customers and partners of the university.
