TRENDS IN DEVELOPMENT AND EFFICIENT PRODUCTION OF MACHINES. PART 1. PHYSICAL BASIS OF PRODUCTION SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT
DOI: 10.22184/2499-9407.2021.23.2.40.48

The article considers main regularities of physical processes, which are the scientific basis for various types of materials processing in modern production conditions. From these positions, it analyses the achieved and potentially achievable values of such processing parameters as cutting speed and energy efficiency.

AUTOMATED ELECTRIC DRIVE OF TECHNOLOGICAL OBJECTS WITH ELECTRONIC SYNCHRONIZATION OF MECHANISMS’ MOVEMENT
DOI: 10.22184/2499-9407.2021.23.2.52.55

Moving away from coupled kinematics and moving to a single coupled electric drive can improve productivity, reduce operator skill requirements, and achieve higher end product accuracy. The article considers decoupling of the kinematics of the 53A30 gear hobbing machine with the use of electronic synchronization of the tool and the workpiece. It also reviews a variant of electronic synchronization in hot stamping machines.

COLD SINTERING IN THE PRESENCE OF AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT: MECHANISM AND APPLIED ASPECTS. OVERVIEW. PART 2
DOI: 10.22184/2499-9407.2021.23.2.58.71

An article presents a brief overview of the current state of research on a new process of consolidation of ceramic powders in an aqueous medium at temperatures below 500 ° C, known as the "cold sintering process". It discusses its key differences from traditional sintering, the main advantages and scientific problems of implementation in industrial production. The article describes the prospects for the development of a new process in the field of new energy design -efficient technologies for sintering ceramics and creating new types of composite materials based on a ceramic matrix.

STUDY OF THERMAL PROCESSES DURING SURFACE TREATMENT OF HARD FRAGILE MINERALS IN THE QUASIPLASTIC MODE
DOI: 10.22184/2499-9407.2021.23.2.74.80

The article considers the mechanism of interaction of grinding wheel grains with the processed surface of a hard brittle mineral. It presents the calculation of the temperature distribution in the sample, which is necessary for calculating the scale of its thermal expansion, is presented. The article describes experimental dependences of the temperature of individual sections of the sample during processing on the change in the cut-in feed and the speed of the table of the machine module.
