New Welding Standards: ESAB Announces Updated Product Range DOI: 10.22184/2499-9407.2023.33.4.32.33
Presented new products of ESAB – welding mask Santinel A60, equipped with an improved filter with automatic dimming, realizing the new technology of wide-spiral light control OpTCS, as well as vacuum packaging VacPak for long-term storage of electrodes, which can be used immediately after opening the package.

Heat Effect in the Metalls During Electropulse Treatment DOI: 10.22184/2499-9407.2023.33.4.34.41
The thermal effect of pulse current in alloys for various purposes: shape memory of Ti49,2Ni50,8, and structural D16 and VT6 has been studied. It was found that the thermal effect during pulse current treatment depends not only on the electrical and heat conducting properties of alloys, but also decreases with increasing dispersion and level of internal microstructure stresses. The heating under the modes similar to the current modes during rolling of the studied alloys has been experimentally modeled.

This paper provides a brief overview of the study results pointed to improve the modifying cast iron technology for vermicular graphite in order to increase stability of the structure and properties of critical machine building parts, as well as the background that were the root cause for these studies.

Study of Influence of Stressed State and Natural Aging of Brake Drum Castings on Their Geometry and Machinability by Cutting Tools DOI: 10.22184/2499-9407.2023.33.4.60.64
Causes of brake drums performance failure during braking of automobile vehicles are described. The factors causing deviation of geometrical parameters from the set values are revealed. Residual stresses in cast blanks and products after annealing and subsequent blade machining as well as the influence of natural aging on machinability of brake drum castings are investigated.

An algorithm for solving the problem of determining the working area of a modified rotopod mechanism with four kinematic chains, the output link of which has six degrees of freedom, is presented. It is shown, that the considered spatial mechanism can find application for robotic complexes for processing of complex-shaped parts and additive technologies, as well as in measuring metrological systems.
