It is shown that the formation of nanometer surface relief is possible with different grain size of the grinding wheel, as the proportion of fragile fracture with properly selected processing modes is minimal. The use of an acoustic signal generated during the quasi-yielding surface
treatment of minerals is considered to control the surface quality to be treated and processed.
